## Welcome to the Online Statistics Guide

This site provides SPSS tutorials and content tutorials to assist doctoral students and candidates in better understanding descriptive statistics and basic inferential statistical techniques. Hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, *t*-tests, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, and nonparametric statistical methods are just some of the concepts reviewed in the FREE Online Statistics Guide on this website.

### Important Information about the SPSS tutorials

Click on the SPSS tutorial links to open them in a new web page. You will need to have the Adobe Flash Player plug in installed on your computer to view the SPSS tutorials.

Each tutorial has a corresponding data set. The data set was used in the tutorial and enables you to practice the procedure. All Sample Data sets are .sav files and can only be opened using IBM SPSS.

Since the professional version of SPSS was used for the tutorials, some of the buttons and pop-up boxes may vary in your version.
